Human nature dictates that if something is out of site, it is out of mind. Unfortunately, unseen intestinal parasites are not only a danger to your pet's health, but some are zoonotic, meaning they can infect humans as well!
Intestinal parasites can be present in any apparent healthy dog or cat or they could be causing debilitating disease in a very sick pet. Controlling these parasites is essential to both you and your pet's health. We recommend annual deworming of all dogs and cats. Some pets may require deworming twice a year based on their lifestyle.
Dogs can be infected by Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms, or Tapeworms. Microscopic single cell parasites like Coccidiosis, Giardia, or Cryptosporidia can also be picked up by dogs. Cats can be infected by Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms (rarely) or Tapeworms. Coccidiosis and Giardia can also be found in cats.
We carry a variety of products to treat and prevent intestinal parasites.
